The talk and power point presentation will be given by Richard DiPentima, RN,MPH, and will focus on the devastating and plentiful health problems related to climate change. The World Health Organization has decreed that the health effects of climate change are the number one health problem worldwide, causing more morbidity and mortality than any other disease state. Other key areas to be covered in this presentation are; pollens and allergens, pollution, vector borne disease, climate solutions and critical steps to be taken by individuals.
