Become a CGC Member
Established in 1924, the Concord Garden Club is an active and inspiring group of individuals united in our love of gardening and the natural world. The CGC offers a wide array of garden-related activities, social events, and educational opportunities. Members at any skill level, share gardening knowledge, make lasting friendships, and strive to make a positive difference in the Concord community. We meet monthly from September to May and hosts enlivening events like the annual luncheon in May and Art & Bloom in January. New members may have a friend in the CGC who can welcome him or her by introducing existing members and driving to events or programs. If not, we will make sure that happens for you. We look forward to growing with you!
To become a member please fill out and submit the online New Member Application and mail in your initial annual dues of $75.
The CGC holds monthly meetings, typically on Thursdays, from September through May (plus the CGC annual luncheon in early May). Meetings consist of a brief segment of CGC business, followed by a speaker or lecture. Look forward to knowledgeable speakers and fun, fact-filled field trips organized by the program committee. Meetings are for members and their guests only. Non-members are welcome to attend our "Open Meetings".
Attendance at monthly programs, including annual business meeting,
Participation in at least one CGC committee,
Engagement in community service projects to ensure we follow through with commitments to the Concord community,
Monthly meeting set-up & clean up,
Contribute to or help with fundraising efforts.
The annual CGC membership dues are $75. In addition, we encourage all members to contribute to and/or help with any fundraising efforts as part of our philanthropy program.
