Please join us for a program with Jean Stefanik, a member of the American Orchid Society. Her time with us includes a PowerPoint talk about native New England orchids and conservation and a brief overview of the tropical orchids found worldwide. Then she will talk about orchid care, preferable using demonstration plants which members have been invited to bring to have questions answered. This will be an open Q & A for the whole group, touching topics including repotting, fertilizing, watering, and growing conditions. The program lasts about an hour and concludes with a door prize drawing for a few orchid plants which Jean will provide, explaining what were key features when shopping for an orchid.
